Techniche Global is supporting a global leader with over 200 years of experience in industrial pumps and motors, in appointing an experienced Quality Document Controller for a role within their Quality team at their site in Luton.
 
In this role, you will be part for the Quality team and ensuring that all Supplier Quality Plans / Documents are in accordance with relevant codes, standards and specifications. Supporting the team with putting in place corrective action when required.

Key Responsibilities of the Quality Document Controller:

Review and acceptance of supplier certs, welding docs, quality plans and quality documents for the relevant projects.
Where required, review/check and stamp all internal manufacturing certification.
Ensure the correct storage of Supplier Documentation for all projects.
Data Book compiling for the customer.
Raise Non-conformance (SCAR/CAPA) investigation/resolution, liaising with purchasing and suppliers as appropriate.
Demonstrate ability to check and verify external documents in accordance with relevant codes, standards, material specifications from suppliers for validity including but not limited to: Material Certificates (Mechanical Properties and Chemical Composition etc), Inspection Test Plans/Control Plans, Test Results, Concession/Permits, MSDS (Material safety Data Sheet), Manufacturing certs (check and scanning to relevant contract folders), CoC (Certificate of Conformance).
Demonstrate ability to interpret and confirm welding documents.
Cross check supplier documents against HT PO, procedures/drawings, and contract/standard requirements.
Validate that the purchased raw material, product, or service meets the customer requirements.
Liaise with the HT Welding Engineer to compile correct welding certification.
Review of enquiry documents and preparation of summary QA/QC documentation as part of quotation submission.
Support the Quality Assurance Engineers whilst they compile Control Plans.
Assist in internal audits when required.
Prepare and maintain product specifications and process procedures.
Review concessions / permits and project non-conformances.
Prepare and control contract quality plans (ITP) for contracts.
Conduct reviews and verify documentation required as per the quality plan (ITP) for contracts.   
Skills and Experience Required:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Good experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF, and Outlook.
Sound knowledge of relevant design codes for Materials (ASME Section II, British standards, Norsok, etc) to check and validate Certification.
Background in Rotating Equipment Standards (API, Norsok or Equivalent).
Excellent communication abilities and attention to details.
Knowledge of NDT practices.
Proficiency in usage of HT software, primarily Epicor, Agility, ECR System, CAPA System is desirable.
