Manufacturing Futures are recruiting for a Metallurgist for our client, a long-established manufacturing business, who supply heat treatment services to multiple industries. Candidates looking to relocate are welcome. You'll be joining a successful and profitable business with a positive and welcoming culture.

The successful Metallurgust will be responsible for metallurgical work on site and get involved with all quality aspects including internal audits, investigating non-conformances, implementing corrective actions and liaising with customers. You will have a recognised materials science / metallurgy qualification and ensure that standards are met and guarantee customer service levels are adhered to. You will generate material specifications, manage any subcontract testing and be involved with various process improvement projects and cost saving methods. At least five years post qualification experience in Heat Treatment is required.

Metallurgist - Skills and Experiences - Metallurgy / Material Science / Heat Treatment

  • Minimum HNC / HND qualified in Metallurgy or Materials Science
  • Previously held a Metallurgical position within a Manufacturing environment for a minimum of 5 years
  • Previously worked with any type of metals including Steel, Nickel, Titanium and Aluminium
