We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager/ Project Co-ordinator for a scientific laboratory in the midlands.

Candidates must have a degree in materials science (or similar Scientific degree) and have experience in physical testing or chemistry testing of materials.

This role would suit a recent graduate looking for a non-lab based role or a scientist/ Laboratory Analyst/ Technician looking for a customer facing project manager role.

The role:

As a project co-ordinator/ Account Manager you will manage several projects liaising directly with the customer to advice and plan testing of their products.

Duties include:

  • Schedule product testing and ensure all projects are completed on time.

  • Be the primary point of contact for customers.

  • Using your knowledge advise customers on the testing required and communicate results back to them.

  • Support/ write project reports and check technical data.

  • Manage client queries

    Ideal candidates will have excellent organisational and time management skills.
