Location: Poole

Salary: £42,000 + Pension + Benefits

Shift Pattern – Days Monday – Friday

The Company

An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s leading privately owned food manufacturers, a growing and supportive organisation. The Company have been established for over 100 years, and is a leader within their chosen specialism, with a presence in all areas of the UK. They are looking to expand their engineering team once again due to increased growth in their market share.

Key Skills

  • Experience in food manufacturing or similar

  • Experience using CMMS

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

    The Role

    The planning engineer is a critical role in supporting the engineering team. Key roles include Managing and planning the execution of planned maintenance activities; liaising with internal stakeholders to understand and prioritise work requests; managing workflow management of the sites CMMS; supporting root cause and failure analysis to identify opportunities to increase reliability through RCM.

    There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
