A leading global engineering company with a strong presence in the advanced manufacturing sector is currently seeking skilled CNC Mazak Machinists to join their precision machining team on the night shift. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking business driving innovation, quality, and sustainability in complex manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, program, and operate CNC machines using Mazak controls (Mazatrol)

Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances and exacting quality standards

Interpret and work from engineering drawings, job cards, and work instructions

Carry out in-process inspection to ensure compliance with specifications

Maintain a safe working environment and follow Health & Safety procedures

Support continuous improvement (CI) initiatives and contribute to Lean manufacturing goals

Maintain a clean, organized work area in line with 5S principles

Participate in cross-training to support skills flexibility across the team

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience setting, programming, and operating CNC Mazak machines (Mazatrol)

Time-served apprenticeship, equivalent engineering qualification, or relevant hands-on experience

Strong understanding of engineering drawings, machining practices, and manufacturing processes

Proven track record in precision machining, including CNC programming and tooling knowledge

Experience machining a variety of materials including Inconel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium Bronze, Cast Iron, and Duplex

Awareness of Health & Safety best practices in an engineering environment

Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

Desirable:

Experience working with composite materials

CI/Lean Manufacturing knowledge (e.g., 7 wastes, 5S)
