Senior Polymer Technologist

We are seeking a Senior Polymer Technologist to lead polymer compound development and provide expert technical support to both business and customers. This is a senior role within the R&D team, offering autonomy to manage projects from concept through to commercialization.

This is a permanent position based in Melton Mowbray and is offering a competitive salary & benefits.

What you will do as Senior Polymer Technologist

Lead polymer formulation and development projects.
Formulate effective compound solutions versus specific customer and market needs
Support scale-up, quality control, and commercialization.
Provide technical service to customers and internal teams.
Conduct trials, evaluations, and troubleshooting.
Maintain accurate formulations and documentation.
Research and implement new technologies.
Represent the company at industry events.
What you will bring as Senior Polymer Technologist

Degree in Polymer Chemistry/Technology/Engineering or related field
Proven industry experience with a demonstrable background working with polymer compositions
Strong track record in polymer formulation and problem-solving.
Confident communicator with proven project leadership.
Proven ability to operate typical polymer testing and analytical apparatus and interpret results
