The Role

  • Interpret and follow technical drawings, job specifications, and assembly instructions

  • Apply fixings, adhesives, and sealants to bond or secure panels in place

  • Collaborate with other trades such as joiners, electricians, and upholsterers during assembly

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop area

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a panel making, vehicle body building, joinery, or coachbuilding role

  • Competent using hand tools and workshop machinery

  • Good understanding of working with composite and traditional panel materials

  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings accurately

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship

  • Physically fit and comfortable working in a practical, fast-paced production setting

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Experience with GRP, composite fabrication, or aluminium work

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a relevant trade (e.g. Carpentry, Coachbuilding, Vehicle Fitting)

  • Background in caravan, campervan, or modular build environments

Benefits

  • Opportunity to work on high-end, bespoke motorhomes

  • Friendly and stable team environment

  • Long-term employment with a respected, growing manufacturer

  • On-site parking and well-equipped workshop
