Composite Inspector - up to £45,000 + Bonus
Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire
 
Are you an experienced Inspector with a background in composites, aerospace, or high-end automotive manufacturing? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, quality-driven engineering business specialising in high-performance composite components for world-class projects.
 
The Role
You'll play a key role in ensuring all composite parts and assemblies meet the highest standards of quality and compliance before they reach customers. Working closely with production and engineering teams, you'll carry out inspections, record results, and help drive "Right First Time" performance across the business.
 
Key Responsibilities

Carry out visual and dimensional inspections on composite parts and assemblies.
Verify conformity against engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
Accurately record inspection data and maintain traceability throughout the process.
Identify and document non-conformances and assist in root cause investigations.
Support PPAP documentation and quality reporting.
Ensure inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
Collaborate with production and engineering to support continuous improvement.
Uphold company quality procedures, work instructions, and 5S standards. About You

Experience in composites, aerospace, automotive, or a precision engineering environment.
Confident interpreting technical drawings and CAD data.
Skilled in the use of micrometers, calipers, and gauges (CMM experience a bonus).
Familiar with PPAP documentation and quality systems.
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of ISO9001 is desirable but not essential. What's on Offer
