Bracken Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced  Quality Manager for a leading Contractor in the London region. The individual will provide expert Quality guidance to their delivery teams to ensure works are carried out in accordance with the clients Works Information and align with best practice. They will ensure that quality data is accurate and report performance to the Senior Leadership Team as required.

Key Responsibilities

Provide guidance as necessary to the Delivery teams on quality planning and assurance.

Update tracker on company compliance and notify delivery team of requirements

Provide training (personally and using both internal and external resource) and awareness of quality issues to the Delivery teams

Review and approval / acceptance of supplier contract specific quality plans

Assistance to delivery team and subcontractors in preparation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) as required.

Verification and approval of ITPs

Assist with organisation of Quality Risk Reviews, Start Up meetings and Sector meetings and subcontract meetings as appropriate and participate to provide systems and procedural support.

Liaison with Materials Engineers to ensure that only verified and approved materials are incorporated into the permanent works (including long-term temporary works)

Manage an inspection programme and ensure that adequate Inspection and Surveillance of works on site is carried out

Raising NCRs as appropriate, processing where design input is not required and final sign off of all NCRs

Reporting of contract quality performance data including NCRs, ITPs, Quality Plans and Progressive Assurance

Verification of assurance and submission to the handover team

Management of Quality Engineers and Inspectors where relevant

Audit planning and execution.

Update project Audit Plan accordingly

Liaison with the Client and other stakeholders to develop and maintain relationships and ensure that requirements are established and met
