QC Analyst

Smart4Chemicals are currently looking for a QC Analyst to join a leading polymer manufacturer in the Northwest of Lancashire on a temporary basis.

To be considered for the role of QC Analyst you will either have previous experience in testing of a variety of materials or be degree/HNC educated in chemistry. No previous experience required as all training will be provided.

As a QC Analyst you will be responsible for routine testing of materials within the testing lab on a daily basis.

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate in chemistry looking for their first role, or for someone looking to get back into the industry in a technical capacity.

Role requirements

Ideally HNC educated as a minimum in chemistry, polymer chemistry, materials science or a closely related subject.
Any previous experience in working in a QC Lab highly desirable.
Strong understanding of polymers also highly desirable.Role responsibilities

Routine testing of a variety of polymeric materials on a daily basis.
Willingness to do overtime as and when required to meet customer orders.
Provide analytical support for test method development to enable delivery of test methods.
Implement continuous improvement within your own role and contribute to implementation of wider QC CI programmes
