Are you a Calibration Technician from a Materials Testing or Mechanical/Force calibration background looking for a mobile role covering an M62 patch?

Do you want a role that grants autonomy and can provide training with the aim of you becoming a fully qualified Field Service Engineer in the future?

In this role you will be calibrating specialist test equipment used for Materials Testing. You will be covering an M62 patch, visiting various manufacturers, R+D sites and laboratories to carry out calibration to ISO17025 standards. Specialist manufacturer training and career development opportunities are on offer for ambitious candidates.

This company are a market leading manufacturer of Materials Testing equipment. With a global footprint, they are looking to capitalise on recent success and increase their market share around Northern England.

This role would suit a Calibration Technician or similar with knowledge of Mechanical or Materials Testing equipment calibration procedures looking for a varied, autonomous role covering an M62 patch that can offer specialist training and career development.

The Role:

Calibrating bespoke Test Equipment at customer sites
Calibrating equipment to test Impact, Hardness, Tensile, Flexural, Creep and Fatigue parameters
Progression to become a fully autonomous Field Service Engineer
All Expenses and Travel paid
Company Vehicle for Private use The Person:

Calibration Technician / Engineer
Mechanical / Materials Testing calibration knowledge
Happy with extensive travel and staying away 2-3 nights a week
