Fabulous role for a Chemistry Graduate wishing to move into a Commercial role with career development in place to guarantee rapid progression.

Our client is a well established European distributor of specialty chemicals and due to continued growth they are seeking a Sales Executive to facilitate business growth. You will have either sales or chemical industry experience and a Chemistry Degree. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of budgeted targets, objectives and KPI’s as set

  • Ability to collate and provide reporting through relevant market analysis and data

  • Work with all internal stakeholders to devise and agree Sales Development strategy and delivery

  • Identification, engagement, qualification and sales with relevant customers and markets

  • Key relationship builder with existing/new customers and colleagues

  • Proactively provide sales development proposals, properly qualified and quantified

    Job Role & Competencies

  • Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science or similar

  • Sales experience ideally in the chemicals or polymers industry or lab based experience wanting to move to a commercial role

  • Excellent telephone manner and people skills to form credible relationships with customers

  • Well organised with good attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills (internally and externally)

  • Focused on creating new business by networking and connecting with potential customers
