We're looking for someone who has a few years of experience as a Development Chemist. If you excel at communicating technical information across all levels of a business, a passion for innovation, are self-motivated, and possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, this could be the perfect role for you. The role sits within our R&D team here in Flitwick working closely with our R&D team in Larne, Northern Ireland.

What you'll be doing:

Researching and leading R&D projects with a focus on innovation
Managing new product development, cost saving and sustainability projects.
Using technical knowledge to develop and adjust product formulations.
Actively seeking to develop knowledge of raw materials and products
Taking responsibility for ensuring products are fully tested internally and externally to comply with the relevant standard(s), as agreed with Marketing and Technical.
Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of standards, policies and regulations that apply to R&D and own product category.What you need to be successful:

Master's or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information.
Ability to lead and manage various projects.
Eagerness and willingness to learn.
