Role profile of the Coachbuilder
As an experienced and skilled Coachbuilder you will work as part of team of coachbuilders, repairing and constructing the Bodywork of a varied fleet of vehicles. Using your skills, you will be required weld and fabricate, restore and repair accident damaged vehicles using a variety of materials including, steel, aluminium, fiberglass and other composite materials. 

Key Responsibilities of the Coachbuilder

Design, fabricate, and assemble vehicle bodies and frames, including custom parts and panels
Restore and repair vehicles to original design while maintaining functionality and safety
Utilize traditional and modern metalworking tools (e.g., welding, cutting, shaping, and riveting) to build and modify vehicle bodies and structural components.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for both yourself, and your colleagues
Work alongside other skilled tradespeople, such as engineers, painters, upholsterers and electricians, to ensure a seamless and successful vehicle body repair and restoration
Inspect work for precision, accuracy, and quality, ensuring all work adheres to company and industry standards 
Knowledge, Skills and Experience the Coachbuilder

Qualified or time served with proven experience in coachbuilding, metalworking, or a similar trade (e.g., vehicle restoration, fabrication).
