Location: Cowes, Isle of Wight
Full-Time | Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 16:30
Starting rates between £13-£16 per hour

Pertemps Isle of Wight are currently recruiting for a Boat Builder / Laminator on behalf of a well-established and respected marine business based in Cowes. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, hands-on boatyard with a strong reputation for quality and craftsmanship across a wide range of marine projects.

The Role: As a Boat Builder / Laminator, you’ll be working on a variety of builds and repairs in a small but highly skilled team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a stable workload and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Laminating and general boat building work

Working with composite materials and marine components

Ensuring high-quality finishes across all jobs

Collaborating with colleagues on bespoke marine projects

Requirements:

Previous experience in boat building and/or laminating is essential

A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

Ability to follow instructions and health & safety procedures
