We’re supporting a leading manufacturer near Uxbridge in their search for an Assembly & Bonding Technician to join a specialist department focused on precision-built assemblies. This is a key role contributing to the success of highly engineered safety systems used in demanding environments.

Assembly & Bonding Technician Duties

Using kits of precision components to build bonded assemblies

Masking components for aluminium oxide blasting

Applying adhesives such as araldite and curing assemblies in ovens

Cleaning, finishing and preparing assemblies for inspection

Following detailed engineering drawings and build plans

Supporting inspection and testing using gauges and other equipment

Maintaining accurate records of work and reporting non-conformances

Supporting 5S and lean initiatives within the workshop

Assembly & Bonding Technician Duties

Experience in an assembly, fitting, or manufacturing role

Hands-on skills using tools and adhesives

Familiarity with engineering drawings and basic measuring equipment

Experience with oven curing, bonding processes, masking or composite materials
Positive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn

Basic computer skills and awareness of H&S and quality processes
