Applications Engineer (Design)

Nottingham (South) - Commutable from Derby, Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham, Grantham

£42-49K plus bonus

39 Hours Mon-Fri, site based role

Are you an experienced Design and Analysis Engineer from a Precision background for a superb opportunity with a global manufacturer?

This newly created role offers job security, an excellent working environment and the opportunity for further training and progression.

On top of the basic salary, earnings can be increased bonus. The site is clean, modern and comes with an onsite subsidised cafeteria and gym.

The role will be focused on CAD design and FEA analysis within the Applications department, working on sealing systems. You will predominantly be working with plastics, polymers and elastomers.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in CAD design, preferably SolidWorks, have knowledge with FEA analysis and be from a similar industry such as Aerospace or Energy.

The Role

  1. Full time permanent, site-based position with a global manufacturing company
  2. CAD design and FEA analysis
  3. Working on plastics, polymer and elastomer

    The Person
  4. Engineering degree (essential)
  5. CAD experience, SolidWorks highly advantageous
  6. Background in Aerospace/Energy industries advantageous
