We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Static Stress Engineer to join our proactive and innovative team and to assist in the delivery of technical projects within our extremely busy Aerostructures department.

Responsibilities

Responsibility for the approval of Static Stress analyses in terms of timescale, cost and quality.
Working with the relevant stakeholders as appropriate, to report on the technical progress of tasks.
Coaching and mentoring more junior stress engineers.
Identification of potential variations to work scope, or rework at an early stage and escalation to the technical lead.
Ensure the adherence to the Company's Quality Assurance Policies in any work undertaken on the project.
Responsibility for approving delivery of Aerostructures engineering Static Stress analyses on time and quality. To achieve this, you will work in teams of engineers to ensure the requirement is delivered on time and to the highest standards.

Essential skills

Airbus Static Stress Approval, Stress Analysis (Static, Patran, Nastran, Hypermesh)
Metallic and Composites considered

Experience

Extensive experience in aerostructures Static Stress analysis experience.
