Quality Engineer | ISO9001 | Aerospace | Oxford | £55,000pa - £57,000pa:
 
A leading manufacturer based in the Oxford area is looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to be responsible for the development and implementation of Quality and Production Control Processes to support the introduction of new products into production. This role will be working across a variety of industries and for clients which sometimes require a quick turnaround, and as such you will need to possess a positive and proactive approach.
This is an incredibly varied Quality Engineer role, as you and will be working for a company which manufactures high tech components for a range of industries but in particular they are looking for a Quality Engineer with experience in aerospace and defence.
 
The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following skills and attributes:

Familiar with all Geometric Tolerancing, and adept at reading and understanding engineering drawings and specifications.
Experienced in writing clear and concise technical documents, including FMEAs, Process Flows, Control Plans, FAIRs, PPAP, Quality Alert Documents and 8Ds.
Experience and knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001 is desirable, with previous AS9100 or TS16949 experience a plus.
An engineering/technical background and qualification is highly desirable, and a knowledge of materials science would be advantageous.
Experience of CMM Programming, including Faro or Romer Arm programming and operation would be desirable, as well as NDT techniques.
PC Literate and able to use or quickly learn packages such as SolidWorks and SAP Business One.  The company is going through a great period of growth and are working with well-known, high-end brands. They have adopted a culture of continuous improvement and development with plenty of opportunities to progress and develop within the role and company.
