Morson Talent are seeking a Quality Composites Inspector to work on the behalf of our aerospace client on a 6 month contract.
The role will be working with key suppliers in the UK with travel to and from suppliers on the south coast. This is a virtual (home office) position.

Responsibilities:

o Product verification and in-process inspections.
o Review of First Article Inspection Reports in accordance with AS9102.
o Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) review and acceptance.
o Creating and presenting metrics and performance data.
o Liaison with Client Program and Engineering.

Preferred skills and experience:

• Reporting to the UK Team Lead, the successful candidate will have a background in quality/inspection, be able to understand and interpret 2D and 3D manufacturing drawings, production paperwork and manufacturing specifications.
• Experience in the manufacture of composite, machined and fabricated parts and assemblies and knowledge of the installation of electrical/electronic line replaceable units (LRU), experience on wire looms and fuel systems would be an advantage.
• Experience in the review of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) to the AS9102 standard, be able to articulate non-compliance/conformities to the document owners and progress through to a compliant resolution.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.
• Computer skills will be required to input data into a number of different on and off-line systems and applications.
