Motorcycle Senior CAE Engineer

What You Will Do as Senior CAE Engineer:
- Develop mechanical design schemes and detailed designs of motorcycle chassis parts and assemblies.
- Carry out the structural analysis of composite chassis components
- Carrying out concept development for mechanical systems.
- Using hand calculations, simulation methods, modelling tools and CAE tools to size, analyse and optimise chassis components
- Liaise confidently with internal teams across Design & Engineering plus external suppliers where required
- Mentor engineers within the team and represent Motorcycle Development Engineering in interdepartmental meetings when needed
What You Will Bring as Senior CAE Engineer:
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent, along with proven experience in CAE Structural Analysis
- Experience within Structural Design of composite materials
- Proficient in carrying out engineering calculations to support analysis work
- Industry knowledge using CAE software such as Abaqus, Altair OptiStruct. Creo Simulate would be beneficial
- Excellent problem solver, clear and effective communication skills
- Ability to achieve project technical targets within required timescales
