Mechanical Reliability Engineer – Staff – Strong Salary + Benefits Package – North Lincolnshire

Our leading manufacturing client is seeking a Mechanical Reliability Engineer on a permanent staff basis. You will be responsible for maintenance support and tactical execution of asset and reliability activities.

Duties:

* Completes moderately complex value-added preventive maintenance investigations as directed by the Reliability and Integrity Leader

* Requests Reliability Technicians investigations, selecting the applicable predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies

* Assists the Project Engineering team to examine the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations

* Participate, audit and improve meetings, as required by the OE&R process

* Consistently applies root-cause Failure Analysis (RCA, RCFA) techniques to investigate moderately complex reliability issues

* Provides Technical support to production, maintenance management and technical personnel as required

* Applies value analysis to repair / replace, repair / design, and make / buy decisions

* Utilize RCM process for existing and new equipment

Qualifications / Skills:

* Preferably a relevant Degree in Mechanical Engineering or HND in a similar engineering discipline

* Member of the IMechE

* Experience of process engineering in a continuous manufacturing process environment; preferably a top tier COMAH Site or a similarly regulated environment

* Demonstrated effective use of and adherence to legislative Process Safety systems and procedures

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Excellent problem solving skills including 6 Sigma, RCA, FEMA and RCM. Ability to read or produce engineering drawings, P&IDs and trip schedules
