Location: Clacton-on-Sea, Essex
Salary: Competitive + Company Pension
Hours: Monday–Thursday 07:00–16:30 | Friday 07:00–11:00

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a secure, long-term role within a growing manufacturing business?

Join a specialist producer of precision composite materials supplying a global customer base.

This is ahands-on position suited to engineers with an industrial or manufacturing maintenance background. We welcome candidates with varying experience levels who have worked in relevant engineering environments.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring safe electrical systems throughout the facility, maintaining power supply to machinery and carrying out repairs and installations. This includes working with single and three-phase systems, safety circuits and mechanical components such as pneumatics and hydraulics.

We’re expanding our team and offer job security, ongoing training (including 18th Edition if required) and opportunities to work on exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair electrical breakdowns on machinery and site circuits
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance
  • Carry out new electrical installations and periodic testing
  • Support machine and facility upgrade projects

What We’re Looking For:

  • Electrical engineering experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting
  • Relevant qualifications (C&G 2365-03, Part P desirable)
  • Mechanical maintenance knowledge (pneumatic & hydraulic systems)
  • Experience with single and three-phase systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
  • 18th Edition preferred (training available for the right candidate)
