The role will involve:
- Performingstatic, dynamic and fatigue analysis of aircraft installations and structures.
- Carrying out structural analysis usingFEA and hand calculations.
- Developing and maintainingFEM models.
- Supporting analysis of bothmetallic and composite structures.
- Reviewing drawings and designs from a structural and stress perspective.
- Supporting the development of repairs and modifications.
- Producing technical, safety and certification-related documentation.
- DevelopingStructural Substantiation Reports and engineering assessments.
- Working closely with mechanical design engineers to develop safe, lightweight and cost-effective structural solutions.
- Supporting material testing and engineering standards where required.

- Strong knowledge of structural mechanics, engineering principles, materials and stress analysis.
- Hands-on experience with FEA modelling - this is an essential part of the role.
- Experience analysing structural components or systems using FEA.
- An understanding of static and/or dynamic structural analysis, with fatigue experience advantageous.
- Exposure to metallic and/or composite structures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider engineering teams.
