Instrumentation Engineer Opportunity - Join a Leading Chemical Manufacturer

Are you an experienced Instrumentation Maintenance Technician seeking a new challenge? This company is currently seeking a skilled Instrumentation Engineer to join their dynamic Maintenance team at their state-of-the-art chemical production facility.

    As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of the company's diverse range of equipment and technologies. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to plant breakdowns to diagnose and resolve instrumentation and electrical faults
  • Performing routine preventative maintenance on safety-critical instrumentation
  • Contributing to equipment reliability improvements through failure analysis and root cause investigations
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in the company's CMMS system

    To be successful in this Instrumentation Engineer role, you will need to possess a recognised Instrumentation/Electrical maintenance apprenticeship and have attained NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Familiarity with formal permit to work systems, including lock-out tag-out procedures, is essential. Experience working in a process plant environment, ideally in the chemical or oil and gas industry, is highly desirable.
