We are looking for an experienced ERP Project Manager with a strong manufacturing background to lead the implementation and ongoing development of an ERP system across the business.

This is a hands-on, business-focused role rather than a software development position. You will act as the key link between the business and the external ERP software provider, ensuring the system is configured to support operational requirements, improve efficiency, and deliver meaningful business insight.

As an ERP Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Lead the implementation, development and optimisation of the company's ERP system.
  • Work closely with department managers to understand business processes and translate operational requirements into ERP solutions.
  • Manage the relationship with external ERP developers and software providers.
  • Drive improvements in capacity planning and production planning.
  • Implement and maintain Master Production Scheduling (MPS).
  • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor business performance and key operational KPIs.
  • Improve the planning and tracking of materials, labour, working hours and production activities.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the ERP system is adopted effectively across all departments.
  • Deliver user training and provide ongoing support to maximise system usage.
  • Monitor project progress, manage priorities and ensure successful delivery of ERP improvements.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Previous experience implementing or improving an ERP system.
  • A strong manufacturing background is essential.
  • Experience with capacity planning and production planning.
  • Good knowledge of Master Production Scheduling (MPS).
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, material planning and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Experience creating and tracking operational KPIs.
  • Able to work with different departments and understand their processes.
  • Experience managing third-party ERP providers or software developers.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Someone who enjoys improving processes and driving change.
