Workshop Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering manufacturer producing high-performance composite components for a range of advanced industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a skilledCNC Machinist to their team, with opportunities available on bothday and night shifts.

This is an excellent opportunity for aCNC Machinist seeking long-term stability, regular overtime and the chance to work on precision-engineered components in a modern manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machines.
  • Machine epoxy/PU patterns, fixtures and carbon components.
  • Program and edit CNC code for complex, high-precision parts.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Follow SOPs and machining procedures.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and carry out routine machine maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate production and tooling records.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as aCNC Machinist with 5-axis machining.
  • Confident programming, setting and operating CNC machinery.
  • Strong understanding of machining processes and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamworking abilities.
  • Commitment to safe working practices.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required.

Hours

  • Day Shift: Monday to Friday (hours to be confirmed).
  • Night Shift: Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts (start time negotiable) with an additional£5.00 per hour shift allowance
