OLG Recruitment are currently looking for a Technology Manager for our client located in Scunthorpe. This is a full-time permanent position.

As a Technology Manager you will lead a skilled technical team and have cross-functional influence, ensuring that the ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality standards are consistently applied, maintained, and evolved through a maturing Quality Management System (QMS). You will lead the charge in improving process efficiencies and embedding a quality-first culture across the site. You will take a strategic approach to interpreting current and future customer requirements, translating these into robust, achievable mill standards that ensure operational excellence and compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate with Commercial, Technical, and Customer Service teams to drive product development and business transformation projects.

Work alongside external professional bodies to represent the company added-value products and help steer the business toward emerging technologies and innovations.

Oversee and develop our Lean Six Sigma programme, coaching teams and refining data analysis practices to uncover further opportunities for operational improvement and growth

Qualifications

A degree in a materials science, metallurgy, or related scientific discipline

Extensive experience in a technical leadership role within heavy industry or manufacturing

A strong understanding of IATF 16949 standards and associated core quality tools
