    The Ideal Candidate

    We are seeking a results-driven technical Business Development Manager that has strong customer skills and technical knowledge of the fabrics and textiles coating sector. You might come from an existing textile coatings role (commercial or technical looking to move into a commercial role), or you might have qualifications and experience working with polymers and chemical solutions.

    The ideal candidate will be an energetic self-starter who excels in fast-paced account management, is adept at uncovering new business opportunities, understands the importance and value of long term scheduled order clients, and demonstrates a tenacious, can-do attitude

    The Role

    This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the dynamic growth of a respected and expanding business. You will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction, driving revenue, and building lasting partnerships within high-potential, technical and diverse markets.

    Key Attributes Include:

  • A proven track record in sales, with significant success in generating new business.

  • Deep knowledge of polymers and chemical solutions for the coatings industry.

  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and build long-term strategic partnerships.

  • Familiarity working with end OEM, tier 1 clients, and engineering services sectors is highly desirable.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

  • Numerate and ability in deal making

    About the Company

    A well established market leader in technical textiles, our UK headquartered client is an expert in the design and manufacture of high- performance fabrics with expertise in coating and combining fabrics for bespoke, high performance technical applications. They can apply a diverse range of coatings which are designed to alter and enhance the technical performance of fabrics.

    Job Summary

    The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving significant business growth across the UK and Europe The role focuses on identifying and securing new opportunities within the textile and fabric coating sector, targeting clients across wide and diverse markets. The successful candidate will be measured on their ability to generate new business, maintain strong client relationships, and achieve ambitious sales targets.

    Work Environment & Reporting Structure

  • Hybrid Role: Based in the UK with the expectation of regular travel for client meetings, industry events, and collaborative sessions.

  • Office Presence: Minimum of one day per week in the head office for meetings, training, and strategic alignment
