Quality Inspector – Coventry
Location: Coventry
Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm (11:00am finish on Fridays) – 37-hour week
Pay: £13 per hour (dependent on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team in Coventry. This role is critical in ensuring that all manufactured components meet the highest industry standards within the automotive, aerospace, and motorsport sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections, recording data, and ensuring that all quality processes and procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured components using handheld measuring tools (Verniers, Calipers, Micrometers).
  • Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Record inspection data accurately and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Work closely with the production team to address and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Assist with non-conformance reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001, IATF16949, and AS9100.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
    About You
  • Proven experience as a Quality Inspector within the manufacturing sector, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or composites.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and inspection processes.
  • Proficient in using measurement tools (Verniers, Calipers, Micrometers).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Confident in recording data and preparing accurate reports.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience with visual inspection is a bonus.
