Trimming Operative – Temp to Perm

Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:15

  • Friday: 07:30 – 12:30

    Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

    Introduction

    We are currently recruiting for a Trimming Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Coventry on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking long-term, stable employment with full training provided.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Trimming and cutting materials including fabric, leather, foam and composite materials

  • Spray gluing components using approved adhesives and application techniques

  • Working from instructions, patterns and templates

  • Carrying out visual quality inspections to ensure standards are met

  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workstation

  • Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets

  • Adhering to health & safety procedures, including PPE and COSHH requirements

    Candidate Requirements

  • Trimming or upholstery experience preferred but not essential

  • Full training provided for candidates with the right attitude

  • Good attention to detail and manual dexterity

  • Willingness to learn and follow processes

  • Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team

    Health & Safety Requirement

  • Candidates must be clean shaven to ensure the correct fit and safe use of a respirator mask when carrying out spray gluing duties
