Echelon Engineers is recruiting on behalf of a leading metallurgy manufacturing company specialising in advanced materials processing technologies. With over 30 years of experience and an international customer base, our client is at the forefront of innovation and R&D in developing cutting-edge processing solutions.

We are seeking a Process Engineer to strengthen their technical team. This role will focus on developing advanced production processes, supporting new product development, and collaborating with engineering on new plant designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse data, troubleshoot processes, and optimize production yields and economics.

  • Collaborate with engineering on plant designs and system modifications.

  • Work on producing new materials to meet customer specifications.

  • Present technical information to both internal teams and customers.

  • Develop detailed technical reports and assist in drafting plant specifications.

    Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field with 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

  • Proven experience in delivering technical projects and process improvements.

  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK and willing to travel internationally as required.

    Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with materials handling, processing, and manufacturing.

  • Knowledge of flowsheets, P&IDs, and metal melting processes.

  • Familiarity with heat transfer systems and gas/water handling.

  • Experience managing or working in technical teams.
