Job Title: Patternmaker / Bench Joiner
Location: Gloucester
Hours: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct patterns and moulds from metal, wood and composite materials from drawings and CAD data

  • Use a CNC programming machine to complete set tasks

  • Carry out day-to-day production in line with manufacturing instructions

  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safe storage

  • Liaise with customers and contractors as required

  • Support research and development projects

  • Reduce waste and ensure compliance with company and legislative procedures for disposal

  • Follow stock control procedures as directed by the Pattern Shop Manager

  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within the working environment

    Key Skills & Experience:

  • Solid knowledge of composites, woodworking, and metalwork

  • Experience operating workshop machinery such as sanders, circular saws, band saws, mills, and lathes

  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing work to high standards

  • CNC programming experience is preferred but not essential
