The Technical Ceramics business of Morgan Advanced Materials engineers high performance functional and structural ceramic materials, components and sub-assemblies to address customer-specific technical challenges.

Our Stourport facility is at the forefront of precision engineering, producing cutting-edge solutions for industries that demand excellence. We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to help optimize our processes, ensure top-tier product quality, and drive efficiency across our production lines.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Optimize Manufacturing Processes – Develop and implement cost-effective, high-efficiency production methods.

  • Enhance Product Quality – Monitor, test, and refine manufacturing processes to maintain exceptional quality standards.

  • Equipment Oversight – Ensure machinery is properly maintained, repaired, and optimized for smooth operations.

  • Data-Driven Improvements – Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and boost performance.

  • Lead Projects – Manage continuous improvement initiatives in cost reduction, process efficiency, and product development.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work alongside design, procurement, and quality assurance teams to align manufacturing processes with company objectives.

  • Ensure Compliance – Maintain adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.

  • Train & Mentor – Support and guide production staff on new processes and best practices.

    Qualifications

    What You’ll Bring:

    âś… Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
    âś… Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
    âś… Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    âś… Proficiency in CAD software and relevant computer programs
    âś… Experience with injection moulding processes/equipment
    âś… Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma certification (preferred)
    âś… Familiarity with automation, robotics, and ERP systems
    âś… A passion for continuous improvement, efficiency, and innovation
