Role: Injection Moulding Setter

Location: Oxfordshire

Salary: £45,000

Shift: Continental shift: 4-On, 4-Off, 12-hour rotating days and nights.

Omega is working with a leading manufacturing company, seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join their production team based in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global organisation known for delivering essential industrial components across a wide range of sectors.

Responsibilities - Injection Moulding Setter

 Prepare for production changes by ensuring all required tools, materials, and equipment are available for efficient changeovers.

Safely shut down machines at the end of production runs, following all safe systems of work (SSOWs).

Safely remove and install moulds, ensuring all installations are completed accurately and to safety standards.

Complete production documentation and daily performance reports accurately.

Lead by example in promoting high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Optimise processes to achieve and exceed target cycle times and quality expectations.

Monitor machine settings and ensure they are appropriately configured to maintain safe, repeatable processes.

Respond quickly to machine-related issues, resolving any quality, uptime, or safety concerns.

Identify and implement process improvements to support efficiency, quality, and safety.

Conduct weekly machine fitness for use checks and ensure all records are maintained.

Support continuous improvement initiatives including SMED, TPM, material recycling, and automation.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

Requirements - Injection Moulding Setter

 Proven experience working as an Injection Moulding Setter is essential.

Formal qualifications in Injection Moulding Setting and Processing.

 Experience using cranes, lifting, slinging equipment, and powered pallet trucks (PPT).

Strong communication skills across all levels of the organisation.

Ability to remain calm under pressure and deliver results against deadlines.

Team player with a flexible and proactive approach.

IMT qualification is desirable.
