The Role: Bring Architectural Visions to Life

As a Façade Specialist, you’ll be part of the elite Façade Team within Foster + Partners’ Technical Design Group, working hand-in-hand with world-class architects and engineers across multiple studios and international projects. You’ll help shape the future of façades, ensuring they are technically excellent, innovative, and sustainable—all while making sure they look stunning.

Your Impact:

  • Collaborate with award-winning architects to tackle unique façade challenges

  • Review and refine cutting-edge cladding systems and full-building envelope solutions

  • Shape sustainable and high-performance façade designs that redefine cities

  • Work alongside industry-leading consultants, contractors, and suppliers

    What We’re Looking For

    Education & Experience

  • ARB Chartered Architect or qualified façade engineer

  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field

  • Experience delivering world-class façade designs with leading design practices

  • A portfolio of international projects with innovative façade solutions

    Technical Expertise

  • Deep knowledge of façade systems & materials – from glass to metal to composites

  • Experience working with façade consultants, specialist contractors, and suppliers

  • Hands-on experience with construction, inspections, and fire risk assessments

  • Proficiency in 3D design software (Revit, Rhino, CATIA, Grasshopper)

  • Ability to create technical reports, detailed specifications, and performance assessments
