Location: Erith, Kent
Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 per annum
 
About the Role
We are collaborating with a distinguished construction firm renowned for its excellence in delivering high-end façade projects across the UK. The company is seeking a skilled Facade Designer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and developing building facades, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and functional integrity.
 
Key Responsibilities

Design Development: Create innovative and practical facade designs that meet client specifications and adhere to industry standards.
Technical Detailing: Produce detailed drawings and specifications for facade systems, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.
Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate facade designs seamlessly into overall project plans.
Material Selection: Recommend appropriate materials and technologies to achieve desired aesthetic and performance outcomes.
Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards. Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in facade design within the construction industry.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
Strong understanding of building physics, materials science, and structural principles related to facades.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines. About the Employer
