Winsearch is proud to partner with a leading composites manufacturing business serving the Automotive, Aerospace and Motorsport sectors. We are recruiting an experienced Composites Laminator to join their team on a permanent basis near Coventry (Bayton Road area). In this hands-on role, you will laminate tooling and components for high-performance projects, taking a precision craftsmanship approach and following detailed engineering drawings and laminating manuals. The focus is on meeting customer delivery targets without compromising quality.

Key Duties

Laminate tooling and components for composite parts.

Seal and release patterns/moulds using appropriate compounds.

Vacuum-bag tooling and components for cure preparation.

Load and operate ovens and autoclaves during curing processes.

Manufacture templates and cut kits of composite components.

Meet delivery targets for our customers while maintaining high quality standards.

Support 5S and Lean manufacturing initiatives (continuous improvement).

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ laminating experience in the composite industry.

Experience with race and road car construction (composite fabrication).

Hands-on autoclave operation experience.

Strong team player with a positive “can-do” attitude.

Good organisational and logical reasoning skills.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow laminating manuals.

Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Desirable: familiarity with 5S/Lean manufacturing (continuous improvement).
