About the Role:

Our client, a leading aerospace company, is seeking a skilled Fitter with composites experience to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. This is a day shift role offering the opportunity to work in a cutting-edge industry and contribute to high-quality aerospace manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and test composite components in line with agreed engineering methods and processes as outlined in the manufacturing instructions.
Ensure strict adherence to Quality procedures and compliance standards.
Perform material handling and ensure proper management of materials.
Read and interpret engineering drawings with a strong understanding of their specifications.
Collaborate with the team to identify and drive opportunities for productivity and performance improvements, supporting cost reductions.
Contribute to the continuous development of health, safety, and environmental practices within the work area.
Take ownership of assembly tasks and carry them out independently, ensuring high standards of workmanship.
Support and progress personal development through the use of a skills matrix, ensuring flexibility and growth within the role.Key Skills & Experience Required:

Composite Fitting.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong understanding of material handling processes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
Understanding of lean manufacturing processes is a plus.
Knowledge of Quality procedures and commitment to compliance.
