Recruit4staff are representing a well-established precision engineering company in their search for a CNC Programmer/Setter to work in Crewe.

Job Role: Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines using FANUC controls, working from engineering drawings to produce bespoke one-off and small batch components. The role involves machining a variety of materials including ferrous, non-ferrous, stainless steel, plastics and composites to tight tolerances. You will be responsible for producing first-off samples for inspection and ensuring accuracy throughout the machining process.

Job Details:

Pay: Starting at £17 per hour (£35,360 per annum)
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 (40 hours per week)
Duration: Permanent
Benefits:

Pay review after 3 months, potential to earn up to £20 per hour (£41,600 per annum)
Overtime available at enhanced rates (x1.5)
26 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing to 31 with service)

Essential Skills & Experience:

Programming CNC milling machines
Setting and operating CNC milling machines
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Desired Skills & Experience:

Experience using FANUC controls
Experience in a contract machine shop
Essential Qualifications:

City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Desired Qualifications:

CNC Programming qualifications
CAD/CAM qualifications
Commutable From: Crewe, Sandbach, Nantwich, Stoke, Whitchurch, Middlewich, Knutsford, Congleton
