Our Client is part of an international chemicals and coatings organisation and is a leading provider of specialist inks. They are at the forefront in technology when it comes to delivering colour expertise and innovative new products.

They are now seeking an Applications Manager to work closely with production, technical, sales, and commercial teams. This is a great opportunity for a Chemist looking for a technical position outside of the lab.

About the Role:

  • Lead product validation at customers in collaboration with R&D and sales team.

  • Answers customer enquiries and supports business development through technical and product guidance.

  • Uses internal and external resources to produce product demonstration samples.

  • Proposes and defines new projects to meet future requirements for IJ in collaboration with sales team and R&D.

  • Captures requirements for business development projects in collaboration with Business Development Director.

  • Plans and manages business development projects to deliver appropriate solutions within agreed timelines.

  • Builds strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

    About the Candidate:

  • Comprehensive understanding of product formulation of relevant products and how formulation changes affect the application performance.

  • Experience as a supervisor/project leader or equivalent.

  • Experience and understanding in DOD and CIJ Inkjet as well as other security technologies outside of conventional printing.

    Salary up to £55,000.
