Our client is an internatonal manufacturer and distributer of polymers and resins for highly regulated and safety critical industries. Due to growth they are looking for Additional Warehouse Operatives on a full time, permanent basis.

You will be responsible for the day to day movement of goods inwards and materials dispatch inclusing labelling and transport.

This role involves the preparation and dispatch of customer orders, ensuring all relevant documentation such as quality certificates and safety information is correctly included. The job requires compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality policies, Maintaining accurate movement records and product conformity checks before dispatch are key responsibilities.

The employee is expected to label shipments correctly, maintain thorough and organized records, and update stock movements in the internal system. Responsibilities also include safe handling and off-loading of road tankers, proper identification and allocation of raw materials, and ensuring stock rotation. Deficiencies in raw materials must be reported to the Purchasing Manager.

Additional duties involve managing returned raw materials, sampling for quality control, research and development, and assisting with batch testing by requesting and handling batch sheets. Samples must be delivered to the QC department as required, ensuring timely testing and accurate documentation.

Auxiliary tasks include supporting the goods-inward process, resolving issues through corrective and preventative actions, and providing cover for essential warehouse duties. Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the warehouse and compound, as well as responding promptly to any incidents or actions needed, is also essential.
