Location: Watford

Hourly Rate: £15-17/hour (PAYE) depending on experience

The Role

We are seeking Test Technicians to join a specialist team. You will conduct physical and environmental testing on various materials, products, and systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and performance standards.

This is a hands-on role, requiring attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a passion for technical work.

Initially this will be a contract role, but should lead into permanent work in the future.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct laboratory tests, working with specialist equipment, such as environmental chambers, mechanical test rigs, and fire resistance apparatus.
Accurately record and analyse test data, preparing detailed reports on performance outcomes.
Ensure tests comply with industry standards such as BS, EN, and ISO regulations.
Support research and development projects in innovative construction solutions.
Follow strict health and safety protocols in testing environments.
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment as required.

What We're Looking For

Experience in laboratory or field-based testing, ideally in construction, materials science, or engineering.
Hands-on experience with testing equipment and data collection.
Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to testing
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
A commitment to quality, accuracy, and safety.
