Role: Quality System Co-ordinator                      

Location: Leighton Buzzard

Salary: £36,000 - £42,000

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Systems specialist to join an established manufacturing company based in Leighton Buzzard, that operate primarily in the FMCG industry.

You will maintain an open mindset towards innovation in pursuit of sustainable competitive advantage and identify such opportunities in Quality.

Responsibilities:

Lead and Co-ordinate the delivery of Quality product to our customers supported by the use of effective systems.
Collaborate with Group Quality and other sites in an efficient and effective manner, and I proactively seek out best practices and process innovations.
Maintain alignment with Group Quality Management System to support ongoing Multisite certification to BRCGS and ISO9001.
Lead the effort to establish, implement, and continually improve the facility's Quality Management System, including the resources and processes needed to ensure that it meets Customer requirements.
Maintain the facility’s QMS so that it is continuously audit ready. Support on any other regulatory/legal requirements, e.g.,BRCGS and ISO 45001, ISO 14001 etc.
Maintain the facility’s Quality Management System so that all requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner, e.g., while not limited to internal audit program, control of documents & records, corrective & preventive action process, control of non-conforming product.
Perform training on ISO9001 & BRC systems within the facility to site leadership & supervisors.
Maintain all international standards up to date and available onsite.
Communicate reports on key performance measures across all relevant functions to ensure all areas are aware of positive & negative performance, so that relevant functions can then take the necessary actions to address any poor performance.
Support both the Local and the Global approach to ensuring health & safety is considered in everything.
Complete Systems and GMPs internal audits.
Requirements:

Knowledge of QMS requirements, including related International Standards. BRC requirements where necessary. 
Must have BRCGS, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 experienced
Good experience in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Manage and encourage change, embracing and using new practices or values to accomplish goals and solve problems. 
Demonstrate the highest commitment to integrity and showing respect for, and value of, all individuals for their diverse backgrounds, experiences, styles, approaches and ideas. 
Strong organizational skills, ability to define, delineate roles and responsibilities effectively; plan well, flexible and able to facilitate change, optimize quality and productivity as projects progress. 
Team player and strong communication skills with internal and external parties. 
Practical skills in performing internal audits and managing external audits.
Experienced in the Food industry is a plus
Experienced in ISO 14001 will be beneficial
