Panel Beater Required for a Repair Centre in Newcastle Upon Tyne
Salary DOE in the region of £45-55k basic

Are you a skilled Panel Technician looking for an exciting opportunity to join a thriving automotive repair centre in Newcastle. We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to become part of our talented team, delivering high-quality repairs and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out vehicle panel repairs, including realignment, removal, and replacement of damaged panels.

  • Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and industry standards.

  • Use the latest repair methods, tools, and technologies for accurate panel repairs.

  • Perform welding, riveting, and panel beating as required.

  • Work closely with other team members, including paint technicians and mechanics, to ensure a seamless repair process.

  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the workspace.

  • Complete necessary documentation to keep accurate repair records.

    Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Panel Technician in a similar role (automotive, body shop, repair centre).

  • Excellent knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques, methods, and tools.

  • Ability to work with aluminium, steel, and composite materials.

  • Relevant qualifications (NVQ/IMI Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair) are advantageous.

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • A full, valid UK driving licence.
