£38,000 - £43,500 per annum + Hybrid Working + Flexi Time + Early Finish Fridays
Monday - Friday, 36 hour week

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer interested in joining an industry leading engineering company, that specialise in manufacturing state of the art products for high profile clients across the Defence and Aviation sectors? Due to continued growth and the securing of new contracts, my client is looking to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their highly skilled team. This is a brand new, exciting position where you will play a fundamental role in the design and manufacture of bespoke, high value simulators for Defence and Aviation customers across the UK and Worldwide.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking of mechanical design activities against the assigned projects, in an efficient and effective manner. You will be working on a variety of state-of-the-art products for an impressive client base.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that prioritises the training and development of their staff, whilst offering clear progression routes into senior design roles within the business. This role offers a brilliant work life balance by providing you with flexi-time, hybrid working and a short 36 hour week.

The Role:
*2D & 3D Mechanical Design for Aerospace and Defence projects
*Working on a mixture of civil and military products
*Working with MRP system, creating Bill of Materials
*Based near Failsworth, Manchester

The Candidate:
*Proficient in either Solidworks or Inventor
*SC Clearance will be required - This will be fully funded by the client
*Experience working with fabricated and machined parts - desirable
*Experience working with composites and tooling - desirable
