We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for a 12 Month contract based in Barnoldswick on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and validate manufacturing methods for assigned components or parts.
Own and drive part-specific plans focused on dimensional zero defects (DZD), yield improvement, and defect per unit (DPU) milestones.
Provide production support by working closely with Operations to ensure delivery commitments are met.
Collaborate with Process Engineering to resolve part-specific issues at the production cell level.
Ensure all manufacturing methods comply with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE), export, and regulatory standards.Required Experience and Skills:

Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong IT proficiency, including tools such as Microsoft Office, Minitab, and MS Project.
Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills and a results-driven mindset.
Hands-on experience in a manufacturing engineering environment, ideally with process improvement project delivery.
Working knowledge of Six Sigma tools and methodologies (desirable).
Experience with advanced manufacturing techniques such as single crystal or directionally solidified casting is a plus.Next steps
