Assembly & Test Technician

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Assembly & Test Technician for a leading engineering company based in Netley, Southampton.

Introduction

The primary role of the Assembly & Test Technician will be to provide support to the engineering team with mechanical testing as well as the assembly, repair build of the site's products to high specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up, preparation and testing mechanical assemblies.

  • Recording and processing test result data

  • Maintain strict company health and safety guidelines

    Ideal Experience:

  • Previous experience within mechanical assembly or mechanical test

  • Ability to use hand tools

  • Ability to read assembly / engineering drawings and work to instructions

  • Attention to detail

  • IT literate with Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  • Any experience with composites, hydraulics, or 3D CAD would be an advantage

    Hours: Day Shift - Flex on start and finish times

    Salary: £26,000 - £30,000

    Benefits: Pension, Healthcare Scheme, Flexible start and finish times
