The opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated Adhesives Lab Technician to join a team in the Warrington area. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge Caprolactone technology, supporting the development of innovative adhesive formulations.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and legislative requirements.
Preparing and characterizing a variety of adhesive formulations (1 & 2K Polyurethane, reactive hot melt, thermoplastics).
Conducting application testing such as reactivity, viscosity, and synthesis analysis.
Supporting the Development Chemist with lab operations, including inventory management and equipment maintenance.
Assisting in broader Innovation Lab activities, such as polyol sample preparation and process development projects.
Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to IT and company policies.You will have the following qualifications and skills 
A BSc or MSc in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or a related field.
A passion for hands-on lab work with an inquisitive, problem-solving mindset.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.It's great if you also have the following
Experience with polyurethane chemistry.
Industrial experience in a polymer development lab.
Knowledge of analytical, physical, and application testing of polymeric materials.Get in touch now
