Tooling Design Engineer
Are you a talented Tooling Designer with a passion for innovation and a keen eye for detail? We’re looking for a skilled individual to join our clients team and take on the challenge of designing cutting-edge tooling for composite manufacturing processes. If you have experience in tooling design, a strong understanding of composite materials, and a drive for excellence, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design and develop advanced tooling for composite manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with commercial and production teams to ensure tooling meets design specifications and production requirements.
  • Create detailed tooling designs and drawings using CAD software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related issues during production.
  • Continuously refine and improve tooling designs to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Work to ISO 9001 standards to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise and fostering growth within the team.
    What You Need:
  • Proven experience in tooling design, preferably within the composites industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA would be a distinct advantage)
  • Strong understanding of composite materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work well within a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
